What we do
A roof is the one part of the house that fails on somebody else's schedule. DWB Construction installs new metal and shingle roofs and repairs the ones that still have life left, on houses, additions, porches and outbuildings. We will tell you which of the two you actually need instead of selling you a tear-off you can put off another five years.
Because we build the whole house, roofing is not a bolt-on for us: we tie new roofs into porch and addition framing, fix the rotted decking and rafter tails we find underneath, and flash chimneys and valleys so the leak does not come back. Storm damage gets looked at fast, and if the ceiling or drywall got wet, the same crew puts that right too.
Every job starts with a free estimate. Owner Danny Brent looks at it himself, gives you a written number, and tells you honestly what is worth doing and what is not.
If the leak is one flashing or a handful of shingles and the decking is sound, repair it. If the field is worn out or there is rot underneath, replacing it is cheaper than paying twice. Danny will look and tell you which one you are dealing with.
Both. Metal is popular around here for the life span and the way it handles our summer storms, and we install shingle roofs when that fits the house or the budget better.
Yes. Call and we will get eyes on it, get it dried in, and give you a written estimate for the permanent repair.
We do. Ceilings, drywall, insulation and trim are all in-house, so one crew closes the roof and repairs what the leak ruined.
